Heat and flammability boost
Characteristics of polyphenylene ether (PPO) resin additives include dimensional stability, low water absorption and low creep behavior at elevated temperatures. These additives combine high-heat resistance and inherent flame retardance with very good electrical and insulating properties. They are miscible with polystyrene, which enables them to be blended with materials such as high-impact polystyrene and general-purpose styrene, as well as styrene-based elastomers. |
