Reactive thermoplastic oligomers

Unique low-molecular-weight polyphenylene ether telechelic resins are designed specifically for use in a variety of thermoset resins and elastomers. These macromonomers have high solubility in common solvents and monomers and tailored functionality, resulting in single-phase thermoset materials with enhanced performance. Toughness increases and moisture absorption decreases noticeably with greater PPO resin content. Dielectric properties are very low. These materials show a performance profile well suited for electronics, adhesives, coatings and composites.
SA120 resin
  

Properties: Hydrolytically stable, low moisture uptake, miscible with polystyrene, low viscosity, improved flame retardance
Potential applications: Adhesives; additive for styrenic-based elastomers; flow modifier


SA90 resin


Properties: Excellent dielectric properties, high reactivity, hydrolytic stability, low moisture uptake, solubility in epoxy and various solvents (MEK), cures into epoxy resin
Potential applications: Additive for epoxy and cyanate ester, coatings, adhesives, composites; electronic materials; printed circuit boards


MX9000 resin


Properties: Excellent electrical properties, low moisture uptake, solubility in epoxy, high reactivity, increased toughness and yielding behavior, solubility in  various solvents, free-radical- and UV-curable
Potential applications: Additive for vinyl systems, electronic materials, wire enamels, adhesives, coatings
