Our Sustainability Solutions portfolio makes it easy for customers to identify, evaluate and select the right SABIC Innovative Plastics materials. This portfolio encompasses five broad categories that address today’s most important environmental initiatives:
Overall, there are more than 20 sustainability solution families and hundreds of product grades. The properties, performance and/or content of these materials make a significant contribution to reduced environmental impact, from lowering carbon emissions to maximizing use of the earth’s limited resources. All products in the Sustainability Solutions portfolio meet a widely recognized third-party standard or, where no recognized standard exists, pass a review evaluating environmental benefits using a rigorous Sustainable Product Scorecard process based on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies. Reaffirming Environmental Commitment with Expanded Sustainability PortfolioSABIC Innovative Plastics is reaffirming its commitment to the environment with two new announcements: the expansion of its already extensive Sustainability Solutions Portfolio comprised of more than 20 sustainability solution families and hundreds of product grades such as new Noryl*, Cycoloy* and Lexan* EXL resins containing post-consumer recycled (PCR) content; and the introduction of a rigorous new validation process for sustainable materials and applications.
